Review

I've never read Victoria Lynn Osborne before, but that's gonna change now! I was totally astounded by The Priestesses of Levet. I love fantasy fiction, but I've never read fantasy mixed with mystery before and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I like it. I love how Jason's character as an Investigator is mixed with his romantic side of being in love with a ghost! I haven't read the previous books but now I'm intrigued and want to go back and read the first two books in this series.

Speaking of which, I definitely think readers shouldn't start with this book. I was left floundering somewhat in the first few chapters because I had no reference to the terms being used and the places and people they're talking about. It would've been good if there could be even a one-line description that could shed some light or at least give us a basic background of things to help us better understand what we're reading about in this book.

Otherwise, this was a fantastic read, and I'm eagerly looking forward to the next book in the series!
