Review and Excerpt: The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci by Belle Ami

Review I love this book! The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci explores an interesting concept of three couples that lived in periods spanning 5 centuries but whose lives are nevertheless interconnected. I love Angela's character, who's an otherwise innocent intern thrust into the center of a mystery to find a rumoured missing painting. While inexperienced in the field of crime and investigation, she holds the crucial piece to determine the authenticity of the rumour and of finding the painting. Together with Alex, they make an incredible pair with great chemistry. This is more romance than anything, and I had an enjoyable time reading this. The pace of the story was just right, and the plot was entertaining enough for me. Worth picking up for a lazy afternoon read. Rating: 5 stars THE GIRL WHO KNEW DA VINCI Belle Ami Series: Out of Time Series Book 1 Genre: Paranormal Romance, Thriller Publisher: Tema N Merback Publication Date: May 31, 2018 What she knows could kill he

Review and Excerpt: Watch the Skies by Tanith Davenport

Review Watch the Skies is a surprising yet delightful read. We've long wondered about aliens and alien invasions, and here Tanith Davenport gave us her take on things. I've heard about paranormal societies and their activities, and wondered if there are people who are really that passionate about aliens that they'll go looking for encounters. Apparently there are. And apparently, these aliens are curious about human mating behavior. Aster and Wade did their part to provide the aliens with sex education, and in that way, also opened up to each other about their mutual attraction. If the aliens hadn't come by, would these two ever act on it? Aster wasn't what Wade was used to, as she was more aggressive than the women he'd dated, and Aster also questions whether she was what Wade wanted. I felt their romance would've benefited from more development, but I understand that it's not possible due to the short length of the story. Upon thinking back, I rea
