Review
I was ecstatic to see book two of this series, and definitely couldn't pass up the chance to review this. I loved her characters from the first book, and I love this chance to revisit them again, even if the kids are now all grown up.Ryan is a lovable hero--absolutely love the way he was dragged back to Blue Creek by Casey, although it seems a tad improbably in real life. And I feel for Casey, for what she has suffered and will face when she goes back home. These characters worm their way into your heart, making it impossible not to root for their HEA.
The plot was a wonderful mix of suspense and romance, and I was on the edge of my seat, wondering what's going to happen next. Ms. Brooks kept me guessing and I love that!
I really enjoyed reading this book a lot, and I can't wait for the next one in the series! Highly recommended.
