The story moves at a steady pace, somewhat fast toward the second half as Brogio tried to contain the mess that Kane had inadvertently unleashed upon the world. Kane was believable as a new vampire, even his desires to be one perfectly relatable. (I'm always moaning about how I need more time to do this or that. But to be a vampire, if given the chance? Hmm…now that I have to consider carefully. Anyways…) I do wish we could've seen more about Brogio's side of things, get into his thoughts and emotions about Kane and what he's done.
